At “Filomathia” we encourage students to take part in various activities that will help them get a good idea of the local culture, like taking cooking lessons or participating in long walks around the mountains. We want our students to feel free to organize their own after-school schedule so our school does not include such activities in the curriculum. However, we are always there to help students arrange their free-time activities and advise them if they ask.

At "Filomathia" we can help students arrange their accommodation before their arrival to Crete by suggesting nice places to stay and bring them into direct contact with hotel or apartment owners as long as we know in advance the exact arrival and departure dates. Students are always free to choose the right place for them to stay according to their budget and preferences, so here are only some helpful suggestions among plenty of others that one can find on the Internet.
